Washoe County School District (WCSD) is encouraging members of the community to participate in upcoming community forums to discuss the District budget. The Board of Trustees will consider this community input during budget discussions at public meetings in the coming weeks. Board of Trustees President Katy Simon Holland says, “These are important decisions because they can have far-reaching effects on our 64,000 students, our 8,000 employees, and our educational goals as a district and as a community.” The first is Thursday at Towles Elementary 2800 Kings Row from 530 to 730 pm.
