The man who was shot by a Reno Police officer, Sunday, was trying to escape, while driving a stolen vehicle was reportedly firing a gun from his vehicle. The car then slammed into a median near Reno High, and as the driver tried to run, he pointed a handgun at the police officer. This according to the Washoe County Sheriffs Office which is investigating the officer involved shooting. The suspect is in stable condition in a local hospital after the Sunday night shooting.
