Family Members of Murdered Reno Couple Will Attend SOU

The White House has confirmed that three members of a Reno couple killed by a man in the United States illegally, will be guests of President Trump at his State of the Union address tonight. Gerald and Sharon David were murdered in their home in south Reno last month. 19-year-old Wilber Martinez-Guzman, who entered the US illegally from El Salvador, has been charged with and has admitted his role in the killings. He is also charged with killing Sophia Renken and Connie Koontz of Gardnerville. Three generations of the Davids’ family will be represented at the State of the Union: the Davids’ daughter Debra, granddaughter Heather, and great-granddaughter Madison.
