The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office has announced the sentencing in a two defendant burglary trial that ended in guilty verdicts last November. 21 year old Kayshawn Dwayne Smith-Harper , and 22 year old Raymond Jalil Banks were found guilty on charges of Burglary, Grand Larceny, Possession of Stolen Property, Home Invasion While in Possession of a Firearm, Burglary While
in Possession of a Firearm, and more. Banks was sentenced to 27 years in prison and must serve a minimum of 10 years before parole eligibility begins. Smith-Harper was sentenced to 25 years in prison and must serve a minimum of 9 years in prison before parole eligibility begins. They were caught when a Sparks homeowner reported someone in his house, loading a safe into their car.
