Carson City Sheriffs Office had to call out the bomb squad, after a resident brought a hand grenade into the dispatch office for disposal late Tuesday morning. Sheriff Ken Furlong took the box taking the grenade outside the building as Musser Street was closed. Best advice from the sheriff, if there’s an explosive device that needs disposal, call dispatch, and they’ll send the experts to you.
