Students from Fernley Intermediate School’s leadership class raised $1,000 for the Veteran’s Guest House by collecting change from the entire student body. The kids presented a check to the house this week, and got to take a tour of the house, and learn how support from the community keeps the doors open for vets and their families who need access to the VA.
