There’s talk of Reno being a potential location for a “Miss USA” pageant. The possible host could be the Grand Sierra Resort, according to the Reno Gazette Journal. They also say the pageant owners want “Help” from the city to stage the event here. That would presumably be in the form of tax breaks, and perhaps free hotel rooms for contestants.
