The Washoe County Health District is seeing an uptick in flu cases. Phil Uliberri says they thought the virus was on the downturn, but stats from 12 reporting locations in Northern Nevada are seeing almost twice the number of cases as we should be seeing right now.
We should be around 2.3 percent of everyone going in to be seen by a doctor. Wash your hands when using a communal surface, and get a flu shot. Free shots are being given out during the Community Health Fair this Thursday at Sparks Middle School at 2275 18th Street in Sparks from 3 until 6pm.
