The latest snow survey on Mt Rose says the depth was 13.5 feet as of Tuesday. Hydrologist Jeff Anderson says in the Truckee and Tahoe Basins last month 8 stations set new records for adding snow. The water content of the snow was also measured at 53%, that’s 160% of average, but still less than 2017. This winter is considered the eighth largest since 1981.
