Governor Steve Sisolak hailed the latest Nevada jobs report that showed the unemployment rate declining to 4.3%. Nevada has the fastest growing private sector in the nation and the Governor says, “Nevada’s economy remains encouraging as small business employment reaches a new record high.” The Department of Employment and Training reports, initial claims for unemployment insurance benefits totaled 9,290 in February, the lowest reading for initial claims in the Silver State since 1999.
