Sparks Police responded to a pedestrian hit and run Saturday afternoon, and now they’re looking for a driver. The incident occurred at around 4pm when a 16 year old juvenile was hit by a black SUV on Wedekind Road near Farrel Ross Drive in Sparks. The juvenile was walking on the dirt shoulder of the roadway when they were hit and sustained minor injuries. Good Samaritans stopped to help the juvenile as the black SUV drove away. Sparks Police are asking for anyone with information relating to this hit and run to contact the Sparks Police Department or Secret Witness. Secret Witness is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
