The Washoe County Commission named Greg Smith to replace Mike Sprinkle in the Nevada Assembly. Smith was married to Debbie Smith, a longtime Democratic Nevada State Senator who died in 2016 of a brain tumor. Smith will serve out the term of Mike Sprinkle who resigned after saying he’d been accused of sexual harassment.
