Reno Ace’s Encourage Designated Sober Drivers

Reno Aces and the Nevada Department of Public Safety are encouraging sober or designated drivers at games. Andrew Bennett of the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety says, any time that we have a large sporting event, we see an increase in DUIs, so it was important for us to partner with the Reno Aces to get their fans home safely and making sure we have designated sober drivers. Inside Greater Nevada Field, there are signs encouraging fans to designate a sober driver. Those who take the pledge at guest services will receive a voucher for a free soda or bottled water.
