The Nevada Department of Transportation will host a public open house today to gather community feedback on a planning study of potential traffic safety improvements to north McCarran Boulevard in Reno. NDOT is developing a Safety Management Plan to evaluate and improve safety on northwestern McCarran Boulevard between U.S. 395 in Reno and Summit Ridge Drive near the western intersection with Interstate 80. The open house will be held between 11:30am-1pm and 5pm-6:30pm at the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park Ranch House, 1595 North Sierra Street in Reno. The public is invited to attend any time during open house hours to view a project video and map.
