Nevada Revenue Forecast Up…A Little

Legislators may have some room to increase general fund spending after the state’s “Economic Forum,” released its revised revenue forecast. They’ve approved a forecast that increased their December projection by $42.8 million through 2021. Governor Steve Sisolak says the report shows the state “has the fastest growing economy in the country and continues to outpace the rest of the nation in terms of job growth.” In december the group projected the state would have 8.8 billion in projected tax revenues. But that extra 43 billion may not enough to cover some of the budget priorities of democrats.
