An IRS letter that has been arriving at local homes threatens collection of a tax lien, and claims to be sent by the “Washoe County- Public Judgement Records.” There is no such department in Washoe County. The letter says the IRS will attached your property if the lien isn’t paid. You can always check you property tax issues by calling the Treasurers office at 328-2510.
