Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam has identified “Sheep’s Flat Jane Doe,” a woman who was shot to death off Mt. Rose Highway in 1982. She was 33-year-old Mary Silvani, who was know to live in Northern Nevada and hailed from Detroit.
