A Fed Ex driver is recovering after crashing his van into the Walker River Tuesday. It happened on Nordyke Road in Yerington. Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says it looks like the driver had some sort of medical emergency when the accident happened. Deep, rushing water created an issue for rescue crews, but the driver was taken to a hospital, and the van has been pulled from the Walker river.
