Several Truckee Meadows Fire stations are planning open houses. The first will be Saturday 10am to noon, at
Truckee Meadows Fire station number nine, on Joy Lake Road. They’ll also open station 450 on Nectar Street in Lemmon Valley that day from noon to three. You can meet firefighters and officials from the Red Cross, learn about fire safety and how to get emergency notifications and programs that will help you prepare for wildfires.
