Senator Catherine Cortez-Masto Urging Her Colleagues to Support The “No Junk Plans Act”

Senator Catherine Cortez Masto urged her colleagues in the Senate to support the “No Junk Plans Act,” which undoes the Administration’s order allowing insurance companies to offer consumers up to three years of coverage via “junk plans.”

Junk plans are supposed to be short-term, limited-duration plans originally intended as a bridge when changing jobs. Cortez Masto says these plans drive up costs for everyone else.
