Nevada Makes Big Changes to Its Approach to Marijuana

A Pilot “Banking System” for the marijuana business will be tried in Nevada. Governor Steve Sisolak signed bills to that effect, the banking program would be run through the state Treasurer’s office. The Governor also signed a bill that would bar employers from denying someone a job for a positive marijuana test. There are exceptions for firefighters and other public safety positions. The Governor also signed a bill banning minors from buying Kratom, which has been linked to overdose deaths.
