The Storey County Sheriff’s Office has issued a “Suspicious person warning” using their Facebook page. Investigators say the man was seen by multiple residents on B Street in Virginia City Saturday, June 22, behaving suspiciously and approaching multiple homes. He was seen taking a bottle of lighter fluid from a front step. Investigators say the man is white and in his early- to mid-twenties, and was wearing a white or gray beanie cap and sweatshirt and dark pants. If you see this man or know who he is, you’re asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
