A driver died Sunday afternoon in a crash on U.S. 50 west of Dayton. The crash slowed traffic on U.S. 50 between Carson City and Dayton for more than an hour. The crash happened just before 2pm in the eastbound lane of U.S. 50, just west of Dayton. One vehicle rolled over and the driver was ejected. The Nevada Department of Transportation reports a medical helicopter was called in and NHP reported the driver died just after 3:30 p.m. The drivers name has not been released.
