A Silver Springs man was arrested for firing a gun in a home resulting in an injury after an accidental shooting Friday night left a person with life-threatening injuries. 27-year-old Joshua David Michael Massengale, remains in jail on $2,500 bail. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of Antelope Street in Silver Springs at about 10:37 p.m. First responders treated the man with a gunshot wound before he was taken by medical helicopter for treatment. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred while people were drinking and playing with a gun.
