Reno Fire water rescue crews pulled one person from the Truckee River Monday after she fell from a kayak. Rescue crews say a brother and sister in their late teens or early twenties were floating down the river in an inflatable kayak when she fell out near the Arlington Street bridge. She made her way onto a downed tree in the river, and from there, rescue crews guided her out. She sustained minor scratches but was otherwise unhurt. The brother got out of the kayak on his own.
