Fire crews remain on scene of a brush fire that sparked at Chimney Road and Leon Drive north of Sun Valley on Saturday. The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says the Jasper Fire is at 1,165 acres and 30 percent contained. One outbuilding has been lost, no homes have been damaged. According to the Bureau of Land Management, the fire has not grown in acreage since yesterday. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of starting the fire by target shooting. 23-year-old Alex Arias and 22-year-old Jorge Luis Sierra-Arias will be charged with destruction of property caused by fire caused by gross negligence.
