[KOH] – One person died in a crash on North Virginia Street near Parr Boulevard just after 4pm Friday, the Reno Police Department reported.
Four people total were taken to the hospital, police said, all from a car involved in the crash. Although the injuries to three occupants did not appear life-threatening, the driver was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No one in the second vehicle, a pickup truck, was taken to the hospital. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
North Virginia near the Bonanza Casino was closed for several hours for the major accident investigation team to conduct an investigation.
