RTC is continuing the transformation of Virginia Street. There will be some changes to your commute as you head to Midtown Reno. Starting Tuesday, August 13, through fall, construction operations on Virginia Street between Mt. Rose Street/Holcomb Avenue and Plumb Lane will switch from the east to the west side of the roadway. Drivers will be able to drive southbound only on Virginia Street between Mt. Rose Street/Holcomb Avenue and Regency Way. Two-way traffic will remain in place on Virginia Street north of Mt. Rose Street and south of Regency Way. Construction continues on many side streets in Midtown, but otherwise businesses are open and accessible during construction.
