A Los Angeles gang member was arrested early Tuesday after a lengthy standoff in Sparks. The U.S. Marshals Service says Terry Williams walked away from a halfway house in Las Vegas back in May. Williams was on federal supervision for a prior federal conviction of Felon in Possession of a Weapon. He was tracked down to an address near Prater Way and View Street in Sparks and was taken into custody September 10, 2019. The arrest involved the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, the Regional Crime Suppression Unit, the Repeat Offender Program, as well as the Sparks Police Department SWAT.
