“Minor” Mid Air Contact at Reno Air Races

Two planes were damaged in a mid-air incident at the Reno Air Races. KOLO 8 News Now is reporting, the incident involved “The Kraken” and “The Last Lap Player.” Both planes sustained minor prop and wing damage. The planes were able to land safely and there are no reported injuries. The accident happened in a Formula One class heat. According to the National Championship Air Races website, The Kraken is piloted by Ross Killin of Melbourne, Australia. The Last Lap Player is piloted by Ryszard Zadow of Waller, Texas.
