The Washoe County School District is hosting a community meeting to discuss a major expansion and renovation project at Swope Middle School. Riley Sutton with the district says the school’s been around for awhile, and has some other issues as well.

That’s so Swope can eventually take 6th graders from six other feeder schools. The meeting is October 1st from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the school at 901 Keele Drive in Reno.
