The Reno Rodeo Association presented checks totaling $69,300 to nine community organizations thanks to the proceeds from the 2019 Reno Rodeo 50/50 raffle. Rodeo Association President Mike Torvinen made personal visits to each organization and presented $5,000 each to the Sierra Nevada Junior Rodeo and the Washoe County 4-H; $5,500 each to the University of Nevada, Reno Rodeo Team and Bikers Against Child Abuse; $5,600 to the Center for Adaptive Riding; $6,100 to the Wildland Firefighters Association; $6,600 to the Nevada Military Support Alliance; $7,000 to Heroes and Horses; and $23,000 to Moms on the Run. The 50/50 raffle tickets were sold each night of the 2019 Reno Rodeo.
