The high school at Wild Creek continues to move forward. Washoe County Trustees have approved just over 230 million dollars, for construction, furniture and fixtures.

Riley Sutton is the district’s Capital Projects spokesman, who says Wild Creek will ease overcrowding in several local high schools. The district also approved half a million dollars for design funding for the replacement O’Brien Middle School. That will be a brand new school, and the old school will be torn down.
