The Nevada Highway Patrol says it arrested a reckless driver early Sunday morning after a pursuit through Reno. The Nevada Highway Patrol received a report of a reckless driver on Interstate-580 near Kietzke Lane around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. NHP officers found a Toyota Tacoma driving in a pedestrian walkway at a nearby apartment complex. Authorities attempted to pull over the driver of the vehicle, but the vehicle sped away. According to troopers, the vehicle continued to drive reckless manner. It struck a guardrail and the wall several times as well as another vehicle. NHP units forced the driver to stop at South McCarran Boulevard near Cashill Boulevard. 19-year-old David Montes-Lopez of Reno was arrested for DUI and other Felony charges.
