The Carson City School District is warning the public about a Virginia company who’s contacting local businesses in Carson City asking for “sponsorships” to benefit Carson High School. The east coast business has no affiliation with the school or the district. One business in Carson City was contacted by the scammers, saying they were working with Carson High School’s varsity football team to sell posters. The company is called “All About Sports,” and is asking local businesses to send checks or credit card payments to the company’s address in Midlothian, Virginia.
