A case of battery is becoming a murder case. A Reno man who was battered with a blunt object on the 300 block of Evans Avenue, the afternoon of October 24th, has died of his injuries. He was 42 year old Clancy Christopher of Reno. The suspect in the case is Zafferine McGilbra, who was initially arrested for battery with a deadly weapon, and on an outstanding warrant from California.
