Man Sentenced to 22 Years in Prison For Trafficking, Coercion

A Las Vegas man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison, after being convicted of coercing two runaway girls into prostitution in Reno. Washoe County District Attorney’s Office says 28-year-old Harvey Reyes-Parrish must serve 8 years and 6 months in prison before being eligible for parole. His convictions include Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Coercion with Force. The case stems from a February 2019 investigation into two runaway girls. Reyes-Parrish was found in March and arrested on the narcotics and weapons charges during a traffic stop. He was later charged in connection with the coercion case.
