The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows hosts its 16th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner today, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Club’s Donald W. Reynolds Facility, 2680 East Ninth Street in Reno. All members of the community are invited to enjoy the feast and festivities this Thanksgiving season including free flu shots to those who qualify, administered by the University of Nevada School of Medicine. The Club will also distribute coats collected in November by the Hot August Nights Foundation and First Independent Bank. The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows anticipates serving nearly 2,000 members of the community. The event also features free family photos, live holiday music, a blood drive and free winter coats for those in need.
