A Pollock Pines woman is charged with murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend, two days after Thanksgiving. The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office says they received a call on November 30 around 3:20PM from the couple’s neighbor saying Renee Goodman had stabbed her boyfriend in self defense. After detectives investigated the scene, Goodman was arrested and charged with murder. Her boyfriend was identified as 71-year-old Karl Coates of Pollock Pines. The sheriff’s office says there are no other outstanding suspects in this investigation.
