Mountain West Conference Hands Down Penalties For Five UNLV Players

The Mountain West Conference has suspended or sanctioned five UNLV football players, for the fight that broke out after the UNLV-Nevada rivalry game on November 30th.
Since UNLV did not qualify for bowl game, the suspensions will be served at the start of next season. The Mountain West had previously announced punishments for four Nevada football players. University of Nevada Police Services is still looking for fans who may have been involved in the post-game confrontations. They are asking those fans, some of whom reportedly pelted UNLV Coaches with snowballs, or anyone who can identify them, to contact University Police Services at 784-4013.
