Washoe County deputies have arrested a California man wanted in a murder investigation in Pine Grove in Amador County. A vehicle matching the description of one belonging to Sean Purdy was seen at about 1:00 Thursday morning, at the 7 Eleven on Tahoe Boulevard in Incline Village. When deputies tried to stop him, Purdy ran away, leaving his vehicle behind. Purdy was arrested today near Incline Village and booked into Washoe County Jail. He will face some Nevada charges, but will be extradited back to California. The victim in the case may be his own father, who is currently missing.
