A shooting between a Sparks police officer and a suspect is under investigation. Police responded to the 1000 block of Rock Boulevard on a call just before 6:00 p.m. last night. The officer-involved shooting happened near the intersection of Rock & North McCarran soon after. No officers were injured. Police did not say how many shots were fired, and have they have not released any information about the condition of the suspect. Reno Police are taking over the investigation.
