The Carson City Sheriff’s Office reports an arrest was made and a vehicle was recovered regarding recent burglaries in Reno and Carson City. Investigators say Joseph Desjardins was seen on surveillance video at the Home Depot in Damonte Ranch, and at the location on S. Virginia Street early in the morning on January 4th and 5th. The businesses told authorities that the suspect stole snow blowers and large tool boxes. In a separate incidents investigators say the suspect stole a snow blower from the C-A-L Ranch on N. Carson Street, and took tools from Design Trends Tile and Stone on December 26. Investigators say surveillance video shows the same white truck at the scene of all the burglaries.
