The Washoe County School District is asking for public input on the budget through an online survey and virtual meeting. The survey is available through February, 14th. Survey results are anonymous and will be compiled by staff and presented to the Board of Trustees for consideration during budget discussions beginning in late February. Board President Malena Raymond says the budget is such a crucial part of the educational mission, as they grapple with challenges in deciding where money should be directed and how it can best be used to support students and staff.
