The family of a girl who was killed in a bounce house accident last July is suing the owner of the bounce house for negligence. Elizabeth Hammond died two days after the bounce house she was playing in lifted off the ground and crashed into power lines. She was 9 years old. The lawsuit was filed January 9th by Elizabeth’s parents, who claim Rhett Schultz, the owner of “Bounce House Guy,” was negligent with anchoring the house and didn’t consider weather-related risks. The suit claims emotional distress and trauma, and the defendant has 30 days to find legal representation.
