Thanks to a tip from a concerned parent, the Carson City Special Enforcement Team in conjunction with a Carson City School Resource Officer arrested two students this week for selling marijuana at a local middle school. The 16-year-old juveniles were caught after a parent alerted the agency about boys near the school selling marijuana to children. An investigation of one the suspect’s homes found items used to sell marijuana. A 16-year-old boy and girl were arrested and booked on possession of a controlled substance, furnishing narcotics to a minor, conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act and possession of paraphernalia.
