The funeral for former Reno Mayor Bob Cashell, who died Feb. 11, will be Thursday, Feb. 20, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 100 Bishop Manogue Drive. There will also be a celebration of life for the public on Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the downtown Reno Ballroom at 401 N. Center St.

Reno Police Chief Jason Soto has declared Feb. 20 as a full uniform day for all Reno Police Department officers.

Cashell, who died at age 81, served as Reno Mayor from 2002 to 2014. Prior to that, he served as Nevada’s lieutenant governor from 1983 to 1987.
