A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man accused in a kidnapping case out of Susanville, California. The victim, Dorothie Crosby, was found safe in Susanville Monday, after authorities say she was taken against her will that morning. The 41-year-old kidnapping suspect, Maitland Carpenter remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office reports Carpenter may be driving a gold Hyundai Santa Fe with California license plates 5XIL173. Carpenter is known to frequent the Reno and Sacramento areas.
