Officials with Lyon County voted to approve a declaration of emergency amid the coronavirus outbreak on Monday. Governor Sisolak signed a declaration of emergency for the state of Nevada last week and Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve followed suit afterward. Douglas County officials also declared a local state of emergency on Monday.
