The Washoe County Health District on Thursday reported four new cases of COVID-19 in Washoe County, bringing the total number to 18. All cases are self-isolating and in stable condition. One woman is in her 30’s, the rest are over 60. The health department is also monitoring people who have had close contact with these people.

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting a a positive case of COVID-19. This is the second case reported in the Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey county area. The patient is a Douglas County woman in her 30’s. She lives with family members who are being monitored for symptoms and tested at a local facility should symptoms arise. After feeling symptoms, the patient contacted the COVID hotline. Through this contact she was sent for testing. Carson City Health and Human Services is contact tracing and monitoring the patient.
